Why Providers Refer to Advocate Psych

As a small private practice, I prioritize quality, patient safety, accessibility, and individualized care. I believe meaningful psychiatric treatment requires time, collaboration, and a thoughtful approach rather than a focus on patient volume alone. When clinically appropriate, new patients can often be scheduled within 24–48 hours. Referring providers can expect comprehensive evaluations, evidence-based treatment recommendations, and timely communication to support continuity of care.

I value communication with referring providers and work collaboratively with therapists, primary care providers, specialists, and other members of a patient's healthcare team to support continuity of care. Unlike many larger organizations, patients are seen by the same provider throughout their treatment journey, helping promote continuity, consistency, and a stronger therapeutic relationship. This allows for a more personalized approach to care and helps ensure treatment decisions are made with a thorough understanding of each patient's history, goals, and progress. My goal is to make the referral process seamless while providing patients with timely access to thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care.
